HELLO! It is I, PLUTO. Ok so this song…THIS song, means the world to me. It is my life story in a way. I was born in the year 1992 to a family of smokers. Both of my parents smoked, as did all of my grandparents. My aunts and uncles smoked. Everyone in my extended family smoked. It was just something that was done. It was normal. I never thought twice about it.

I grew up in the heart of Los Angeles, in the midst of the smoking culture. Everywhere I went, people were smoking. At school, at the park, at the movies, at the mall. Everyone smoked. And I started smoking too. I was just a kid, and I thought it was cool. I thought it made me look grown up. I had no idea of the consequences.

Now, I am 26 years old, and I have been smoking for half my life. I have tried to quit so many times, but I always end up going back to it. I have tried gum, patches, pills, e-cigarettes, cold turkey, you name it. Nothing has worked. I have been through so much pain and suffering because of smoking. I have had lung infections, bronchitis, and pneumonia. I have lost friends and family members to smoking-related illnesses. I have seen first-hand the devastation that smoking can cause.

But this song…this song gives me hope. It is a reminder that I am not alone in this struggle. It is a reminder that there is a way out. It is a reminder that I can be free from this addiction. This song is my anthem, and it has helped me through some of the darkest times in my life.
